Bottom ash, fly ash, recyclates and excess heat are all by-products of the EfW

process. Rather than ending life in a landfill as a waste product, these residual
materials can provide an opportunity for recycling and re-use.

The aim of this event is to provide a background to the current status of EfW and EfW projects in the North West and demonstrate opportunities to maximise resource recovery at EfW facilities.
